Key Note: Resilience: Weathering the Storm through Forgiveness and Letting Go by Dr. Indigo

This is a transformational session that takes you on a journey of discovery in confronting difficulties in life and your career so that you can handle situations with clarity and results. Dr. Indigo discusses how everyone is either going into a storm, in a storm or coming out of a storm. Some storms we can bounce back from readily easy while some will take our breath away and leave us doubting fairness, ourselves, and our future. She will provide you with insight and techniques to manage the storms that will blow into your life and offer a concept of forgiveness and letting go to help you rebuild, refocus and recalibrate.

It’s not enough to recognize the storm and move through it, it’s also important to forgive those who cause storms in our life. Forgiveness and letting go are always encouraged, but no one has taught us how until now. Dr. Indigo teaches you how to forgive and let go as the next tier of resilience. Session 1.  Aromatherapy: A Holistic Approach to Wellness – Kuan Nee See

You may or may not have already noticed that an estimated 75%-90% of all doctor visits are for stress-related issues. In this workshop, you will learn why and how essential oils can help you and more importantly, what you can do with them to create your own self-care routine. Come immerse yourself with the healing power Nature has to offer!

Working with essential oils is a balance between art and science (yes, there is science to it!). It is a balance between intuition and knowledge. It creates a relationship that is refined, delicate and exquisite between user and essential oils and Kuan Nee See wants to share this with her audience.                                           

Session 2.  Mindful Meditation to Destress – Pooja Arora

There’s plenty of evidence that meditation can benefit your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. However, if you are new to meditation and have not tried it before, it can be difficult to know where to start. Join us to experience a simple and guided meditation technique that would help you relax and reduce stress within minutes. The meditation will involve simple breathwork and destressing and healing guided meditation. It will have 2-3 tips you can take away and practise at home! All are welcome.

Session 3.  Relationship Healing with an Energy Approach – Farahnaz Farrokhzad

This relationship seminar is designed based on the science of energy that deals with our thoughts and emotions. Its aim is to introduce the different levels of a relationship, discuss the different forms of Soul Mates, and study the major problems that often occur in various relationships, be it with your spouse, in your family or at work.

This session provides solutions to improve relationships and bring much love, harmony and understanding among family members, friends and co-workers. Good relationships are one of the most valuable assets in life. Just as a good relationship can improve all the aspects of our life and bring good health, happiness and peace of mind, a difficult relationship can be a tremendous drain. One of the most ancient and effective forms of preventative health care in the world today, qi-gong is a series of invaluable breathing, movement and awareness exercises that help our body and mind keep at peak energy levels in the face of today’s demanding and stressful modern lifestyle.

Qi-gong is the science of working with the body’s energy field. Literally translated into English it means ‘energy work’, or ‘energy skill’.  In this session, Toby will be guiding you in the art of moving subtle energy and life force through your body using a series of simple and easy to apply techniques.

She is also a Reiki master teacher, Yoga Instructor, Silva Method Instructor (dynamic meditation), Hypnotherapist and Regression Therapist, Inner Child Integration Therapist, Wellness Coach and a Meditation Guide.

Her story below outlines how she stumbled upon the path of alternate therapies like Meditation, Yoga, Silva Method and Reiki, which had a life-changing impact on her. She believes they can be of benefit to countless individuals in need of physical, emotional and spiritual balance and healing.

She is passionate about helping people through difficult physical, emotional or spiritual issues. Toby Ouvry

Toby is mindfulness coach and trainer with over twenty years of experience teaching meditation and mindfulness. He is the author of the book ‘Engaged Mindfulness – What mindfulness is and how we can apply it to our daily lives’. His passion is empowering people and organizations to greater levels of capability, effectiveness, creativity and wellbeing through the applied practice of mindfulness and meditation.  He is the founder and principle facilitator at Integral Meditation Asia, delivering mindfulness programs to both the public and corporate sectors. He currently facilitates the mindfulness program for the MBA, staff and faculty at the INSEAD School of Business, Singapore campus. His original training was as an artist and creative, he has a BA Hons in Fine art from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.  After University he spent ten years doing his basic training in meditation and mindfulness, specializing in the Tibetan Tradition. This included five years as an ordained Buddhist monk.


His teaching, facilitating and coaching combines practical mindfulness and meditation techniques from three sources: (1) the world’s great wisdom traditions, (2) cutting edge practices that are currently emerging from contemporary psychology and neuropsychology and (3) his own ongoing practical and creative experience as a mindfulness practitioner, business owner and entrepreneur.

Holding her first bottle of Lavender, many years ago during her migraine episodes, she has always felt there was something more to it than just smelling great. In this bottle here, she is holding a little bit of relaxation, a little bit of quietness, a little bit of tranquillity, which as a whole has helped her more than she realized. It ignited a little spark inside and her passion to help change lives for the better fuses beautifully with Aromatherapy. The more she discovers, the more she is in awe.

Christina Shiu, owner of The Singing Bowl Gallery and The Singing Bowl Studio in Singapore, is passionate in promoting the singing bowl as a tool to bring back peace and balance to people’s life in simple and effective ways. Christina has been offering monthly sound bath meditation sessions and Singing Bowl Workshop monthly from her space. She has collaborated with many sound practitioners and played regularly for groups and retreats. Her learnings and teachings are rooted in the original lineage from her teachers from the Nawali & Tibetan traditions. Christina has been widely exposed to classical music and live performances, she engages participants with sensitivity and an artistic touch in her playing. Sound healing is non-evasive, nonreligious and free of side effects. The sound and vibration produced by the Himalayan singing bowls are able to reach deeply into our body to restore balance and harmony at the cellular level. More and more medical studies have found sound and vibration can improve physical conditions and general wellbeing, such as relieve pain and anxiety, boost immune function, improve sleep, memory and focus.
